A Life Dedicated to the Piano.
James Miller was born in Los Angeles, where the sound of his grandmother's upright piano became the first landscape of his memory. At seven, he began his formal studies at the National Conservatory, and by fifteen, he had already given his first solo recital.
Over a 15-year career, James has developed a singular voice that merges romantic tradition with contemporary minimalism. His compositions — often inspired by memory, landscape, and the silent drama of everyday life — have been performed in concert halls across Latin America and Europe.
His work stands at the crossroads of Chopin's lyricism, Debussy's coloristic imagination, Piazzolla's restless tango, and Einaudi's cinematic clarity. Each piece is an invitation to pause, to listen, and to remember.
